Locations and Environments

Player's Home

In The Circuit, a player's home serves as an area of respite. Players can save their progress, change clothing, hairstyles, and/or make-up.

The player's house can be furnished with items from the local shopping mall to give it a personal look and feel.

Some items like televisions, stereo systems, and computers can be purchased to add access to new activities, such as:

Watching fight replays
Listening to the music purchased from the game's soundtrack,
Checking stats and researching upcoming opponents
Hosting friends for get-togethers

These are just some of the ways you can spend your downtime when you don't have a fight and are not training.

The Gym

The player's local gym is where they go to work out and improve their S.T.A.P.L.E.S. of fighting. This is also where they refine their repertoire by creating and selecting a game plan with their fight coach to use in their next fight.

There are seven trainers, each specializing in one of the core S.T.A.P.L.E.S. of the game. Working with these trainers unlocks new moves to add to a player's repertoire, along with the player's choice of perks to customize their character further.

Players can also meet and interact with opponents that they may face or challenge in future matches.

Each Trainer and opponent has their own backstory and motivations for players to discover.

When players first start the game, they must visit this location and work with the gym owner to map out their build. This also applies if the player decides to respect their build at the shopping mall later.

Shopping Mall

The local shopping mall is where players can spend some of the money they have earned from their matches.

It is filled with both clothing and athletic shops that allow the player to customize their attire.

Players can visit barber shops and beauty salons to unlock hair and makeup styles that they can then maintain at home.

The shopping mall is home to some local furniture and electronics stores that players can visit to furnish their homes with items that also provide practical benefits:

Beds allow the player to call it a day and sleep to save their progress
Computers and Laptops allow players to research their next opponent, check stats, and view their upcoming fight schedule
Radios and Stereo Systems enable players to play music they have purchased or unlocked
Televisions allow players to watch replays of their previous fights, as well as play minigames with the purchase of a game console (sold separately)

The shopping mall is also home to various other storefronts that players can visit, such as a car lot, a dance studio, a general store, a music shop, and even a beneficial yoga and meditation studio for players who want to respect their build.

Night Club

The nightclub is a unique location in the game where players can enjoy a show, socialize, discover new music, and even let loose on the dance floor.

Only accessible at night, visiting this location means that players would be unable to visit other locations outside of their home once they arrive.

Players may encounter trainers or other opponents, which could provide opportunities to learn more about them or even further develop relationships.

Occasionally, players can even take in a show, as some touring comedians may arrive to deliver some of their best sets.

Stadium

The stadium is where a player's matches take place. It boasts a large crowd capacity, allowing the public to witness the spectacle of each bout.

Players can set their attire for the night's match, along with their entrance music, in the stadium's locker room.

The stadium also features several media rooms, where players can interact with members of the press both before and after a match.

As players gain fame and status in the World Combat League, they will be able to schedule interviews with outlets that match their status.

Finally, players can show up to the stadium to support and cheer on other fighters, if they choose.
