The S.T.A.P.L.E.S. of Fighting

Discover the 7 S.T.A.P.L.E.S. of fighting: Strength, Technique, Agility, Physique, Luck, Endurance, and Stamina. Each segment unveils the key to mastering combat in The Circuit.

Strength

STRENGTH is primarily offensive in nature and often used to increase attack damage . It can also provide access to strength-related effect perks for attack cards.

Technique

TECHNIQUE lets players use multiple fighting styles. It is required to use any effect perk(s) acquired within other attributes trees - while providing some strategic options.

Agility

3-Agility.png

AGILITY can provide players additional options in battle at a cost to attack damage. It is required to use AVOID cards and can provide both additional tactics and/or perks.

Physique

PHYSIQUE allows players to use their physical presence to mitigate damage. Primarily a defensive attribute, it also provides intimidation tactics and perks.

Luck

LUCK provides useful intangibles and offers some extensions from other attributes. The effect perks here may not always be active, but can impact fights in a major way.

Endurance

ENDURANCE refers to a player's health and fighting sprit. Increasing it can allow a fighter to stay in a match longer than normal. It's perks embody a "Never say die!" attitude.

Stamina

STAMINA Let's you do more each turn by providing additional energy and reserves, which can allow you to capitalize on opportunities while attacking or defending.

Each of the S.T.A.P.L.E.S. has its own perk list players can unlock as they level up each one. These perks enable fighters to modify their cards and even the game's rules to better support their particular build.

Fighting Styles

For each player, the S.T.A.P.L.E.S. of fighting begin with the selection of a primary fighting style. While fighters may also learn and use up to two additional styles in their repertoire, it is not possible to use moves from every style.

Boxing

The BOXING fighting style places focus on strategizing the combination and use of various punching strikes.

Martial Arts

The MARTIAL ARTS  fighting style contains an assortment of eastern inspired moves; focusing on kick strikes, parries, and counter attacks.

Street Fighting

The STREET FIGHTING style is an untrained fighting style. It's attacks containing moves from each other fighting style offset by varying damage output.

Wrestling

The WRESTLING  fighting style  weaponizes the entire body, focusing on grapple techniques to both deliver and escape damage.
