There's a group of people that believed the world's overall fascination with violence could be controlled in a constructive way. The plan? Bring world leaders and governments together in an attempt to preventing the next set of world wars. Surprisingly, it worked! Now when a nation or country has a problem, they have a stage to address and handle it on a global scale - covering everything from borderline disputes and religious claims, to foreign aid and outright tyranny. Now there is no more war or terrorism - as we've come to know it today, because every country is held accountable for their actions and seeks compliance to remain valid and hold a space within the WCL. Not all WCL fighters enter the ring with political goals in mind; however most countries seek to find and train the best fighters they can to represent their various political agenda's and aspirations. While every nation/country is free to opt out of the WCL, very few have - as it has become the new platform for asserting one's global presence. Due to this paradigm shift, some fighters actually became the new faces and representatives of global political power themselves. WCL matches are now considered a global event, watched by the masses as a way to keep their respective leaders and governments in check while holding them accountable for allegations made against them by other countries. And the world faithfully tunes in for every event.
